Who can Harvest? You can. The Kinross Community Garden is truly for the community and works on a Pay it Forward option. We ask that community members follow the simple traffic light harvest information sticks which are placed in the garden beds themselves and will show the Green “Ready to Harvest” or the Red “Not ready yet, please do NOT pick”. Information can also be found at the garden relating to How to Harvest – for example if taking some lettuce, please remove some of the outside leaves only, do not remove the entire plant from the bed. This means that the garden will continue to produce for more people to enjoy. We ask that you only take what you need, leave enough of the plant so that it will continue to grow and remember that others will want to share as well.
